Inspired by nature, Michael Michaud creates models from natural elements, then uses layers of gold, silver and copper metals on bronze and pewter to give the Table Art collection an elegant and unique look all its own. Each piece is cast and then finished by hand, meaning that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
A very aromatic and bushy annual, Basil has branching stems that bear tender, light green, oval leaves with slightly toothed margins. In ancient times Basil had a rather deadly reputation, but today its principle use is culinary, and the pungent fresh leaves are the principal ingredient of the classic Italian sauce, pesto Genovese. Basil's flavor is particularly compatible with its companion plant, the tomato. You can almost smell that wonderful aroma with these Basil Napkin Rings. They look as wonderful on their own as they do mixed in with any others of Michael Michaud's stunning Table Art pieces.
Available in gold plate over pewter.
