 This unique necklace is an eclectic combination of the many sides of Susan Goodwin, incorporating different styles of chains, freshwater pearls, and quartz crystals to create a truly one-of-a-kind look. This stunning collection was inspired by Edwardian and Victorian era jewelry, particularly a trend in which rock crystal balls were wrapped in sterling silver wire and linked together to be worn as necklaces. The resulting "Pools of Light" created a halo-like luminescent effect on the skin, and it was believed that these undrilled pieces of quartz carried special properties of mental clarity and clairvoyance. Susan Goodwin's handmade Pools of Light line contains AAA quality rock quartz crystal, oxidized sterling silver, freshwater and shell pearls, and faceted black garnet and onyx. All designs are original and handmade in Seattle, Washington.
